I am not very good at following directions. If I get to something that I do not understand, I just skip that step. That is probably why I am not a very good cook. I have a hard time following recipes since I just combine everything all at once. Well, the same went with sewing. After my mom took a look at the pattern and my little project, she helped me fix a couple of things that made it finish out really nicely. It looks so much better. We also made a romper together and some mini blankets with the ribbon (i think they are called binkies) and a really cute bib. We had so much fun and it was so sad to see her go this afteroon. I always have a great time hanging out with my mom since she is my best friend! We have lots of fun sewing adventures to come! If you ever need a cute baby gift, go to her blog.
