Twas the Night Before Christmas

We continued our family tradition of opening one present the night before Christmas.
We have the Light in the Night book and character at the store, and Claire has asked for one everytime she comes to the store. She was so excited to open it, and she sleeps with her little buddy everynight. Grey loves his too.

I think I was the only one in my house that had no clue it could snow Christmas Eve night. I was shocked when I looked out the window Christmas morning. It was so beautiful!

Claire told Santa she wanted a big kitchen and a baby in a basket for Christmas. She was so excited when she came down the stairs to see her new kitchen. It looks so cute in her new room. She also got a new baby in a little crib that she rocks and puts to sleep every night. She is getting ready for her new little brother to arrive.

Grey had so much fun opening his presents and was a little overwhelmed with all the toys. Every time he opened something, he wanted to play with it so big sister stepped in to help him finish unwrapping all his gifts.

After breakfast and presents, Claire was dying to play in the snow. This is my favorite picture because you can see the snowball in mid air that she is throwing at Grey, who wasn't so sure about the cold.

Claire had so much fun and wants it to snow again. Her new favorite word is probably, so everyday she tells me that it will probably snow tomorrow.

Loving their new beanbags from Daddy.

Grey wouldn't take his eyes off his big sister. He loves her so much!
It is hard to believe that we will welcome our 3rd child in about 6 weeks. Claire is super excited but I am not so sure about Grey. He is so sweet and laid back but I think his new little brother is going to shake up his world.
We headed to Leakesville Christmas afternoon to spend some time with Jason's family. With 8 grandchildren running around, it was a little crazy but so much fun. Claire loves her cousins and always has a blast spending time with them.

On our way back to Oxford, we stopped in Jackson to see Jason's dad and open even more presents.

Grey loves to kick balls around the house so his soccer ball was the perfect gift.

Loving on Papaw!

Claire and Grey had their Christmas program at church and they did such a great job singing their carols.

When we got back to Oxford, it was off to the Christmas Tree farm to pick out our Christmas Tree.

Claire loves this one so we loaded it on the car and took it home to decorate.

After 3 broken ornaments, we love our tree and had so much fun decorating it. Claire was a huge help and loved putting the lights on. Grey just played with the ornaments.

We have so much to be Thankful for.
We have two amazing kids and a healthy baby on the way!

We went to Jackson for the day to spend Thanksgiving with Jason's family. It was a quick trip but we had a wonderful time spending the day with family!

Claire rode with her dance studio in the Homecoming Parade tonight and had a ball.

Dora and Boots take over Halloween

Claire loves Dora so it was no surprise that she wanted to be her for Halloween. Grey was easy too since Claire told me she couldn't be Dora without her Boots.

The day after Halloween, we were in the car and she asked me who would be the map next year?
Looks like our Dora phase may stick around for a while.

Pumpkin Patch

Claire's class took a field trip to the Pumpkin Patch and I got to tag along.
Here are the highlights from our trip.

Claire's BFF!!

We had a hard time getting the kids to leave this huge sandbox filled with corn. What an awesome idea! So much fun!

I can't believe this little guy is 1!! I made cupcakes for school, even though most of his sweet little class is not old enough for table food.

Enjoying my cupcake

Celebrating after Grey's birthday dinner.

Grey loves birthday cake!
