Sewing Project #2

Sewing Class has been a lot of fun! On Tuesday night, we learned how to make a placemat purse in class. So on Wednesday night Martha and I decided to see if we could do it all by ourselves. Here are our adorable purses. Since I had materials left, I made my mom a bag. Wow! That is a change! She is always making things for me, so I was so excited to make something for her.

They turned out a lot cuter than I thought they would!

 

I am getting a little creative with all this sewing stuff and am actually working on a project for Claire. The first part is complete and I was really impressed with myself. I will post a picture when it is all finished. I am enjoying my little projects so much! I cannot believe I never let my mom teach me how to do all these fun things. I think I was a little too impatient. Since she is coming in town tomorrow, we will have to sew together for a fun weekend.
