A trip to the Zoo

We took a trip to the Jackson Zoo this morning and had so much fun!
We saw all the different animals and Claire enjoyed walking around. She wanted to get down and go the whole time instead of being in her stroller.

Happy 10 Months!!

It is hard to believe that in two short months Claire with be a year old. She is growing up way too fast!!

Family Beach Trip

We had an amazing time at the beach! The weather was gorgeous, we ate lots of good seafood, and relaxed a lot.

Claire was great and loved everything about the beach. She loved to play in the sand and then the water.

Happy Father's Day

to the BEST daddy in the world!!

We went to Jellystone Park in Pelahatchie today and Claire had a blast. They have a splash pad which is great for little kids. Claire had so much fun walking and splashing around in the water.

Kate and Sean

I had the honor of being a part of Kate and Sean's wedding this weekend. It was so sweet and absolutely beautiful!

Their wedding was at State in the Chapel of Memories. It was so much fun to be back on campus. It has changed sooo much since I was there and everything looks so nice.

Claire and I walked all around campus Saturday morning and she told her daddy that she wanted to be a bulldog when she grew up:)

Claire was walking around everywhere at the reception and she didn't want to be held at all. She would weave in and out of everyone and just squeal with excitement. It is so hard to believe she will be 10 months next week.

On the Road Again

The Lowe Family is moving.

Jason has a huge opportunity to open up a Countrywide office in Oxford.
We found out yesterday that the office building was approved and we are to move next month.

The job search was now on for me.

I sent my resume in yesterday and had an interview today in Oxford. After the interview we went and looked at some houses. We also got Claire into a really good daycare that our good friends little boy, John Pitner, goes to. Before we headed back to Jackson, I got a call from the principal I interviewed with this morning and I am going to be the new Kindergarten teacher at Davidson Elementary.

God definitely had a plan for us and I know he had a hand in all of our blessings today.

I got a job, found a house, and got Claire into daycare.
I think I got more accomplished today in a 4 hour period than I do most 24 hour days.

Our First Black Eye

Claire and I were playing yesterday afternoon and she was trying to walk so fast that she tripped and hit her face on the corner of the coffee table. She was only upset for a few seconds but it just broke my heart!! I knew it hurt so bad.

She has become so independent. She likes to walk all by herself and if you try to hold her hands she will just sit down.

Vacation Bible School

I am teaching VBS at Pinelake this week with the 5 and 6 year olds. They are quite a rowdy bunch but they are so sweet and love to learn about Jesus. Claire has also been going since I am working and she is having a blast. She brings me home a craft everyday.
I don't think she is a morning person though because she takes two naps in the morning from 8-12.
