Jason and I (along with three other cars full of Rebel fans) are on our way to Dallas, Texas to watch the Rebels play Texas Tech on Friday.

Claire loves her Minnie Mouse

Sweet Granddaddy gave her Minnie for Christmas to go along with her Mickey Mouse doll.

16 months

Claire is growing up way too fast!
I wish time would slow down a little bit because my baby is turning into a little girl.
She is talking up a storm. She can say Jizzle (my mom), juice, shoes, Maggie (our dog), Trixie (my mom's dog), night night, bye bye, and cheese(as seen in the picture above).

The whole family went out to eat this afternoon in the middle of running some errands. We decided to go to Ichiban for something a little different after lots of turkey and dressing.
Jason gave Claire a donut with frosting in the middle and she loved every minute of it. She had everyone around including us laughing so hard.
She loves to feed herself and wants her own plate.

It's the most wonderful time of the year

It has been so wonderful getting to see so much family over the holidays.
Our first stop was Leakesville to see Jason's family. I took some great pictures, the kids got a hold of my camera, and then the camera stopped working so I am unable to get any of those pictures.
We had so much fun hanging out with all the family especially all the nieces and nephews.

After a fun weekend in Leakesville we headed back to Jackson.
Santa came to see us and brought Claire some fun things. She had a blast unwrapping her gifts and loved playing with the boxes and paper.

Santa brought Claire an Ole Miss tricycle. Although she can't reach the peddles just yet, she loves to climb on and get pushed around.

She also got some fun crayons that are perfect for her and a coloring book. She loves to color!

After lots of excitement at Jizzles, we headed to Grandaddy's for more Christmas fun.

Claire and Landon had so much fun opening presents and had no idea what was waiting for them outside.

Jason's sweet dad got both grand kids powered 4 wheelers.
It didn't take Claire very long to figure out her new toy.

One of my dearest and most talented friends, Jenny, created our Christmas card and I absolutely LOVE it!

We are headed to Jackson tomorrow for the Christmas holidays and then we are off to Dallas for New Years and the Cotton Bowl.

Have a safe and Happy Holiday! I am so excited to be a teacher and have 2 weeks off to relax and hang out with my family!

We headed to the square today to finish the last of our Christmas shopping. When I told Claire it was time to get in the car, she grabbed her backpack (that she takes to school) and ran to the door. She wasn't too happy with me (as you can see in the picture) when I told her we didn't need it today. She definitely knows what she wants and is not a happy little girl when she doesn't get it.

Busy Busy Busy

We have been so busy lately and I am counting down the days till Christmas Break. Santa did come visit my classroom the other night and left lots of toys for the kids so they have been extra good this week.

Claire had milk and cookies with Santa and she loved sitting on his lap. I was a bit nervous ( I wasn't sure if she would like him or not) but she thought he was so great and told him HOHOHO!

Speaking of Claire, she is so funny. She loves to rearrange our furniture and pushes the chairs all over the room. She also likes to swim in the bath tub. She will try to float and then kick her legs because she gets so excited.


My new favorite thing for Claire, are her Babylegs. They are like leg warmers and make diaper changing extremely easy. They are also extremely cute and come in lots of colors and patterns.

Funny Story
Tonight, as she was waving and telling me bye bye, she crawed up in my lap and went to sleep. It was the cutest thing!

Claire loves to play in her toy baskets. She gets in and takes all her toys out.

We are so thankful for our wonderful family and friends!

We had a great week in Jackson and got to see a lot of our family and friends during the Thanksgiving holiday!


Claire also turned 15 months last week.She is talking up a storm(even though you can't understand her, she thinks you can), and loves to dance her little heart out. She will push the button to start the music and push it until her favorite song plays. She is growin up way too fast!

Crew and Carrington turn 2!

We celebrated with a party at their house.
We are so thankful to have such wonderful friends like the Holloway family and were so glad we were in town to celebrate with them.

Claire loved to jump with her friends. I couldn't get her out of there.

I have lots of cute pictures to post from my week off. Claire and I have had a blast hanging out together in Jackson while Jason and my mom have been busy working.
We are headed back to Oxford tomorrow after our family feast and will post pics then when I can get my pictures off of my camera. I left my plug in at home.

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Hill

I was so honored to be a part of Marie's special wedding day. We have been friends since Pre-K and were pretty much in the same class each year growing up at JA.
Her wedding was absolutely beautiful and so much fun!

I brought my camera with me but was having so much fun that I didn't take many pictures.

Go Rebels!

Claire loves her rocking chair that Grandaddy got for her.
When we ask her where her rocking chair is, she runs as fast as she can to it, climbs up and begins to sing. She loves to rock!!
She also loves to cheer on the Rebels who got another win today!

Baby Menetre

We had a baby shower for Baby Menetre and his sweet mommy Gracie this afternoon. She looks wonderful and got a lot of cute things. We are anxiously awaiting his arrival in January.

These two girls are the best! They gave Claire the cutest tutu that she modeled at the shower. It is just precious! Every little girl needs a tutu.
She also loved Sara Beth's rocking chair and didn't want to get out.

She thought it was so funny rocking by herself. She thinks she is such a big girl.
