This was the view outside my classroom window today.
I was in the middle of my "morning meeting" where all the kids are sitting on the carpet, and a teacher bust up in my room and tells me to look outside. It freaked me out a little bit (I thought someone was standing outside my window) until I saw that snow was falling. It came down really hard at one point but only stuck for a couple of hours. It was totally gone when we loaded up the buses and my kids were so upset that they couldn't go build a snowman when they got home.
We did go play in it for a couple of minutes. I gave them blue paper to catch the snowflakes on and they thought it was the coolest thing ever. I have to admit I was pretty excited myself
