Ole Miss Rebels = 2009 Cotton Bowl Champions

Although I graduated from Mississippi State, I have had so much fun cheering for Ole Miss this year. Don't get me wrong, I love my bulldogs and will always cheer for my school. Now that we live in Oxford, I have met so many amazing friends and feel like I am a part of a great town and Ole Miss tradition. I also have a husband who is all about some Ole Miss sports which also makes for some fun family time.

Jason and I drove to Dallas,TX with a great group of friends to celebrate the New Year and watch the Rebels play in the Cotton Bowl. This game was probably the most fun I have ever been to. The team was pumped up and ready to play and the fans were into the game the entire time. Lots of Tech fans were heading out quickly before the game was even over and all the Rebel fans were still cheering as loud as they could.




Texas Tech was favored to win by 91.4% and a lot of the sports commentators talked about how Ole Miss didn't even have a chance to be in the game. I think the score proved everyone wrong.
