There is an amazing ice cream/candy store on the square and they gave Claire her very own ice cream cone this weekend. It was a big hit. She also loved playing with their blocks and didn't want to leave.
We had Open House tonight at school where I got to meet my new students. My class of 14 quickly turned into 19 as parents were registering there little kindergarteners tonight. I will be busy putting their names on lots of things in the room tomorrow to get ready for their first day on Thursday.
It felt so good to be back at work and I realized how much I missed being back in the classroom. My students were so precious and the majority of them were very shy and quiet. They just walked around the room with wide eyes. I am sure things will quickly change once they all get comfortable with one another.
