Sara Beth's surgery date is scheduled for Tuesday, December 11th at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis. She goes in for pre-opt. on Monday at 10am and will have a EKG, chest Xray and all blood work taken. She has to be at the hospital on Tuesday morning at 5:30 and will probably go in for surgery around 7am. The procedure lasts around 6-7 hours and she will go straight to ICU for 24 hours. If all goes as planned she will be transfered to a regular room on the neuro floor for 2-3 days. The doctors said that she should be ready to go home by or during the weekend.
