My wonderful mom came to Mobile this weekend to visit and babysit Claire so Jason and I could go to BayFest with some friends. Bayfest in a huge music festival in Mobile where they shut down the down town area for the weekend. We went Saturday and Sunday and had a great time. It was weird getting out of the house without Claire and I found myself calling my mom to check on her all the time, eventhough she was doing great and was being taken care of by the greatest mom ever!
We saw Chris Daughtry and he was great. We were right up by the stage but all you could hear was the music and not him. The farther back we went, the better it sounded.

We also heard some good local bands, The Blues Traveler, The Wallflowers, and Big and Rich.
