Mardi Gras is a very big deal in Mobile. So big in fact that parades have been going on for weeks now and I do not got back to work until Thursday. That's right, the schools are out Monday-Wednesday for the big celebration. We went to the parades of Saturday night and yesterday afternoon. After the parade yesterday, we went to Maysville. Maysville is a really big Mardi Gras party that is held in a warehouse that keeps the floats from the parade during the year. There were three bands that played during the night which included the Tip Tops... so much fun!
